Hi all
I've had a few electrical problems some of which have been traced to lighting.
The vehicle is a sprinter 308cdi mwb 2000.
Initially I thought I had a fuel problem as the engine would loose power when turning left. It however turned out to be a faulty flickering brake light. The brake light switch has been changed and partially cured part of the problem.
However there is still a noticeable dip in power when the lights are put on. The power does eventually recover.
There is a split charge system fitted, the problem still exists when I removed the fuse on the system.
Other electrical items do not seem to have the same effect.
It's the fact it recovers is confusing me, but I'm no auto electrician.
Is there some controller, or earthing problem. Any advice gratefully accepted.
