Whistling noise coming from front of my engine, one of the pulleys, it sounds like. This noise disappears after 5/10 minutes running and the car runs smoothly.
Anyone any ideas?

That sounds mighty like the sheaved idler pulley!
How many miles has the car done since the accessory belt and pulleys were last changed --IF ever?
The whole lot should be replaced at 100,000 mile including the belt tensioner.

I work on this engine family a lot and you can often locate the noise simply by using a long thing screwdriver and place it on a stationary part of the engine near each component and hear the racket it is kicking up! A bit like doctor and a stethoscope when you put your ear to the screwdriver handle.,
In this case the sheaved idler is hanging on the water pump body via a stud screwed into the casting.
Further to the right will be a cotton reel plain smooth idler which might also be on the croak! As might be the belt tensioner idler guide pulley itself .
Check the whole lot including the water pump which might also be the source of the noise.
All the best
