Hi,

Could do with some help figuring out what this 'Engine Oil Cannot be Measured' warning light is about and how do I go about fixing it.
This started happening yesterday. When I switch off the engine, the message goes away then after a couple minutes of driving the warning light comes back.
The car itself drives ok with no loss in performance.

I also stuck a litre of oil in as when I checked the oil level, it was showing as minimum on the onboard cluster, now after topping it up
the oil level reading not showing. Could it be a faulty sensor?

My car only done 37,000 miles, it's a c220d, premium plus model, 2018 model.

Thanks

Not sure about your car but the actual oil level (admittedly from the same sensor) can be accessed on the dash display vis the 'service mode' on some , like my 2006 C class.

When was the last oil change ?
