Hi I'm going to do a service on my cdi 220 w203 2005 just wondering which oil Mercedes own or castrol magnates 5/30 thanks in advance for any suggestions [emoji3]

If it helps when I bought my motor it had Castrol Edge 0w 40 in and I do use the power and drive above average speeds.

It used a cupful of oil every 1000mls

At the oil change MB oil was used the engine was straightaway quieter and I haven't topped it up yet.....I will be using MB every time now.

Mb put shell helix in my e320cdi and it's never used a drop in a 9 month but i've only done nearly 3000 miles in in it this year.
