Engine ticking noise

Hello guys , I have C200 w204 , 2011 . Few days ago I notice ticking noise from the engine, just for about 4-5 seconds when brake pedal is press, then again same noise when I release the brake pedal. Its on driver side at the bottom of the engine. The car runs perfect , no light on the dashboard . I will be thankful for any idea or advise. Thanks

Ticking noise from under the car could be the driveshaft hitting on a loose handbrake cable clamp. Does this sound right?

No, this happens when the car is in a stationary position with the engine running.

Hello I have a e350 cdi 2011 with the 3.0.v6 engine has a ticking noice coming from engine my merc specialist said its coming from. The bottom of. Engine anyone had this problem.?
