The "Entrance Position - Do not drive" warning light has come on, on my 2001 W220 320 CDI. The steering wheel still moves to the selected position when the ignition is turned on, but as soon as the engine is started the warning light comes on. The car has been stood on my drive for about a month and the battery went flat.
Any idea what the problem may be?

Try resetting the seat and steering column by manually moving them to the extremes of their travel both ways then reset to the desired position and store the memory again.

Is the battery now charged up.?

The battery is now charged up, the car has'nt got memory seats. I have moved the steering column, up down, in out, to the extremes.
