EPC help please.

I recently signed up for MB's EPC parts thing & apart from finding F11 pretty helpful am baffled by the rest of it.

Is there a sort of Idiot's Guide somewhere?

I need to know what ECU is in a van & what the compatible part numbers are & can't find it using the VIN, which is VSA63809423408225.

Could anyone familiar with EPC please either tell me how to look this up or post up the info?

Strange, using that VIN no control units come up. If you disable datacard SA filter then they show.

Click F7 and scroll down the parts list after deselecting the SA filter.

I hope I'm not getting this totally wrong, someone will correct me I'm sure

I see the control units, (well at least the ECU) in group 54 section 060

When you put the VIN in, in this case you then have to select one of 2 ranges, (based on last 6 digits chassis number)

I suspect you clicked on the 1st one, when 408225 is > 246706 so you needed the 2nd one
