Errant alarm

My R230 had an alarm fart today. It's black and had been sitting in the sun for a few hours so I'm wondering if it just got too hot inside. I switched off with the fob and opened the doors, boot and bonnet. Rearmed it and it's been silent for the last couple of hours; the sun's gone in so its not as hot inside now.

Any common issues. If it was SWMBO s Range Rover it would be the bonnet switch.

Star or equivalent can tell you the last reasons for alarm activations, that’ll give you a place to look

It's booked in with Alex next week to replace the siren. My research suggests the siren to be problematic at best.

All sorted by Alex with a new siren. I even get beeps when arming and disarming the alarm.
