Error code on dashboard

Please can someone help, I have a 2015 Mercedes-Benz B Class AMG Line. Recently had service and MOT with no advisories. On my dashboard when I started the car it started fine but a yellow coil error code came on my dashboard. It did not flash it remained on during my drive home (20 minutes.) Any help will be recommended. Many thanks

Yellow coil would indicate a problem with the glow plugs or relay

Thank you, is it safe to drive whilst I wait for a garage appointment

Yellow warnings are telling you something isn't working correctly but the car is ok to drive. It may go into limp mode (unlikely) but get it seen to as soon as possible..

It is perfectly safe to drive. You may find starting in very cold weather takes a little longer but no other adverse effects.

Do you have a reliable Mercedes specialist you use for servicing? There is a number in or close to Southampton.

Contact MBS in Southampton and they will diagnose and fix it for a reasonable price. Avoid the main dealer.
