Hello all, I have a 2011 c220 cdi. For the last 1000 miles or so the engine won't rev past 3000rpm and the Amber engine light is on. I plugged it in to my code reader and the two codes stored are P2455 and P2463. Could this be a faulty sensor?
Thanks
Ally

The first one (code) refers to the particulate filter pressure sensor circuit being too high. ("A" circuit )
AND P2463 calls up the fact that your particulate filter is plugged up.
Result engine is stifled, no wonder it won't go past 3000 r/m!
On the face of it both codes/symptoms go together.
All the best

Yes, try changing the dpf pressure sensor. Delete all error codes and see if things improve .

Live data on that sensor is around 0.04 .

Why ppl are not even trying google fault code descriptions... If they are reading codes with close to decent reader, it will give the description. If not, it is already a lottery but at least if I am looking for help on forum, at same effort I would try to find Whatta heck those codes mean.

Good that someone did the extra job, and in addition could give more instructions.

Thanks for the replies, do you know the part number of the sensor?
A dealer will otherwise buy the bosch sensor which is cheaper.

Is it best to get a bosch one or buy genuine? Hopefully get the part number off the one in the car tomorrow and get one ordered.
