ESL A2129008600 corruption

I have been quoted by main dealer £620 (£1065 including labour) for supply and coding of the electronic steel lock.

The problem I have is that nobody can read the FBS4 EIS (Electronic ignition switch).

Has anybody encountered this before and found a way around using main dealer?

The car is a 2013 W212 E220.
