Am I being a bit slow here, but I didn't know that there was a limit to which you could be speeding?

At the end I put...

"Speeding is safe and essential in some everyday situations… i.e. a vehicle is travelling ahead at 40 in a straight 60 road there are no oncoming T-Junctions and it’s clear to pass however it makes sense to do so as safely and quickly as possible.

The obsession the authorities have about speeding is really frustrating… I wouldn’t drive past a school at closing time when cars are parked everywhere at 30MPH or at 70MPH on a clear motorway in the middle of the night?"

Precisely. But the powers that be wouldn't dare let us use our own common sense to decide the appropriate speed. That would be far too much freedom.

Double plus unwrong!

How many politicians will use the figures from the result of this survey?

How many of these same politicians will then complain about not having enough police officers on the streets. Statistics....... What a growth industry?
