Ethanol proof rubber fuel hose.

Hi All. I own a Suzuki grand Vitara 4x4, on a 57 plate. Failed its MOT on a fuel leak ( petrol ) the fuel pipes were corroded and needed replacing.
I charged a local garage to replace them.
To cut a long story short, purchasing said pipes was not possible. Suzuki, along with several online suppliers said they could provide them, then said no.
The Suzuki was off the road.
In the end a friend of mine ended up doing the job.
He replaced the pipes with rubber ones.
Passed it's MOT yesterday.
The pipes are Ethanol proof. Previously, rubber fuel pipes were destroyed by the Ethanol

Yes its a sure death for all old cars . Ethanol will block up fuel pumps also ==ask me why
