Do cars come without engine oil fillers now?

Genuine question, I've not topped up oil between services for years.
 
When I changed the diff oil in my CLK I think the fill plug was fitted at the factory by BIG HELLGA. It was bloody tight, wouldn't want to mess with Hellga when she had a cob on.

Also, do not hammer the screwdriver through the old oil filter to screw it off before you have checked the replacement part is the correct one.

Especially if doing a 'bush' oil change where the oil is being returned to the sand from whence it came and you are miles from anywhere....
 
Only knock a screw driver through the oil filter , it if you have no other means to remove it . I would never do it this way . You need a strap wrench to put around it , then turn it till it spins off . Also Mann oil l filters have a none return valve inside so you dont get a mess...
