Just thought I would put a few pics of the boot build of my W124 saloon. Although some of you members might think what the hell ! I can assure you that the audio system in my car will amaze most people for
sound quality and not just to rattle out your fillings ....lol....

and is designed to be both practical and effect .

Good stealth setup you got there mate, well done. Have seen your updated gallery post too and man your car looks amazing. I also liked the custom door build for those big components.

Glad you liked it

:) Thanks for your comments bro, You will have to have a listen in you see the car at any GTG

That's really nice ...

I like that ..

Good work fella ! :bannana:

Looks good and as you say at least you can still use the boot. Some seem to go over the top and fill the boot with speakers, amps, subs etc.

Is your spare still in there?

I bet it sounds good, years ago I bought a lot of Rockford Fosgate audio, not sure how it rates now this was maybe 10 years ago. I had it in a Mk3 Golf Gti and it sounded awesome, not just bass boom boom but quality. I like Dire Straits (ducks) and it sounded like you were on the front row :)

Did you buy your door builds or did you do them yourself?

That's looking good! The subs in the floor are a good solution! Have you had to remove the spare wheel, or can you still have one in there, and still be able to lift up the boot floor.

I will be having a sound system installed this week (hopefully), although it won't be to that extent! Just 2 Phoenix Gold amps and one 12" sub. All hopfully built into the back of the boot.

Darren

Cheers Guys !

Thanks for your comments. Door builds were done by ourselves and the subs are built into a special sealed enclosure that takes up all the spare wheel well. I just carry a can of tyre weld if the unfortunate happens.
