E320CDI with a few bits on it. Looking to get the B/Tooth cradle working for once. Got a WM6Pro (HTC Touch) device and nobody seems to be able to help.

Any thoughts...

BTW - Shape before the current one - What Chasis code is it? Help!

Black, AMG Kit, Comand, 6 Disc, DVD, Black Leather, Heated Seats, Folding Mirrors, Parktronic, All electric... ex demo car when I bought it. Any questions - can't think.

Clearly, I need to know tech specs to get my answers on the Phone kit.

Any one know where I can get the latest Sat Nav Discs for a non MB price? I live in a field at the moment (well at least according to Comand)

Should I be posting a photo or two?

Welcome.
Have you tried e-bay for command discs?
My earlier e-class (W210) was CD rather than DVD and I bought a disc on e-bay without problem.
Alternative for me was disc manufacturer - http://www.teleatlas.com/index.htm
or try http://www.navteq.com/

If you have version 5.1 then you will be able to get traffic messages and dynamic routing. All you get with the later versions is more up to date maps.

The disc to update the head unit to the latest spec is only around £12 from MB.

Will get some photos done this weekend. Maybe some for Jon too. But then again, with an attitude like that... ;-)

To be clear then, v5.1 or later for real features gain, but to get my house on my Comand (if nothing else jsut to stem the rising damp as noted above) probably some later maps would be good.

Got a mate who knows how to source the best and then where to drive deals... very useful... isn't he Jon_F? He's an Accountant and a Quality Car enthusiast so spends days trawling, speaking with everyone he knows when you tell him you're changing cars. Loves it. Hes got S320CDi, M3, RRSport and A8. Nutter to spend all that but if you love it you love it. Will get him on here some point next week.
