OK, his are about £200k a pop, and any 1950's car is horrible to drive, but cue Sinatra and Grace Kelly in "High Society."

Time has a tendency to exaggerate reality, but I’m sure a decent 190-SL could be had for £20k-ish in around 2005.

Around the same time you could get a really nice Pagoda for £15k - now £75k ish plus. (or if you advertise in MB official club Classic Mercedes mag you ask 230k euros:dk:)
