I've not driven enough RWD cars to know, but how much of the steering response is muted by power steering and how much is due to the drive shafts?

The reason why I ask is that I've driven a few RWD cars without power steering and the steering response is excellent. So how good would a FWD car without p/s be I wonder? (must find a Lotus Elan owner to show me)

How long is a piece of string kind of question I know :)

A fair bit, its particularly what happens when you power out the bend, you feel pulled rather than pushed and the car washes wide
