It don't say it was used in Casino Royal.

Just it was allowed in the studio car parking area at Pinewood.

It's only a parking sticker for Studio staff.

He says it was a 'studio car' - most probably used to ferry VIPs around the set etc.

Not sure it impacts on the car's value, but the sticker itself would have made a nice souvenir for someone...

Pinewoods not particularly big , and is a real rabbit warren , good luck driving an s600 round there.

I missed a trick there , I should have sold my old CRX as a James Bond car as I had the stickers in the window from when I was working there

When I used to work on the films , all the chauffeurs used to drive their own cars , the studio didn't own any. Perhaps that has changed , but this is more likely to just be a chaps car who used to drive for the films.

I've got loads of 'film crew' stickers in the garage somewhere

Another time I would have popped on that but just bought another car on Friday so bad timing.
Link is not worth anything but interesting to a huge Bond fan like myself who grew up near the studios.
Many a weekend spent peering through the fences.
Any cheap picnic tables though do point me in the direction. Black needed.

Bear in mind that car doesn't have the M275 5.5 litre twin turbo engine. It's the previously very unloved 5.8L 360bhp variety which featured the six cylinder shutdown to improve fuel economy which often ended up with oil supply issues.

Run a google search for Mercedes M137 engine issues which I believe was only manufactured between 98 & 02. Problems with the cylinder shutdown feature failing are documented as are problems with oil seals on the oil cooler failing. Replacement involves taking off the cylinder heads.
