I just want that lustrous colour to pop and not have the previous wash marks/ hazing. If I wanted perfection I’d be looking at £6/700 with this particular detailer
Fair enough - you obviously know what you’re looking for and what you’re going to get for your money [emoji106]

Having given my recently acquired Obsidian Black E63 a proper clean, I can see the paintwork is in pretty poor condition in the usual places. Front bumper had been polished with a dark filler and uncovering that shows a myriad of stone chips, same by the rear arches I thought were OK.
It's going to take a fair bit of work (or someone else's;)) to get the finish I'm looking for. Won't be this side of Xmas though if I'm paying someone else to do it:(.
I've already spent too much on the car according to the "boss".

I had a similar issue when I got my obsidian black W212 Rog, coming from a 744 silver car the amount of extra cleaning that is needed drove me insane! :D

silver never looks dirty!

I had the CL detailed by Ed at Divine Detail www.divinedetail.co.uk ( Highly recommended ) Quite a few on the Forum has used Ed. He had it for four days, that was tree years ago and it's still as good today.

Agreed Ed is great. Likewise my car still cleans up really well after Ed's work 4 or 5 years ago. Couldn't recommend me him highly enough. Great bloke too.

Lee, if you’re reading this to which I’m sure you are, thanks for wasting my time asking pointless questions to which you already knew the answer to as you’d clearly already read the threads.

MB forum members, don’t waste my time asking questions about a car you’re never going to actually buy. Genuinely pathetic.

So I assume this car has some type of warranty on the rebuild? Seems worth mentioning in the advert?

I'm after a 6.2 but if I decide to look at 5.5 I will look harder at this one (esp as I love the spec and colour)....but the mileage worry's me as I would soon have it over 100k

I haven’t asked Wayne gates (The MB specialist who did it) if there is Any warranty or not to be honest.

Yesterday I was irritated as a guy asked questions and was blunt and rude through autotrader, turns out he was a forum member who knew the answers. It wastes my time which I find massively frustrating.

good luck in the search for your car though.
