In all fairness, he's referring to the news team and not the medics.
I know that.

But, since the medics allowed this to happen... is he not inferring the same upon them? :wallbash:

Had to pop out for fuel this morning and noticed outside a local chemist a gaggle of Methadone dependent citizens , all in a close huddle all acting like it was another day at the office , once they all had received their "medication" they proceeded (staggered) along the street getting far to close to the ques outside the Bank and other shops.

At such a critical time ,IMHO, it should be "essential life dependent" medication only.

Just my 2p , rant over.

I Raise you your 2P:

Apparently in Peterborough the Forward thinking around thought it would be a good idea if all Addicts were issued with (Insert Suitable Drug Here) with a Fortnights Prescription at a Time

All to Prevent Unsocial Spacing, Prevent Virus Spreading Etc, Day 3 All Drugs Consumed, so gangs are roaming everywhere looking for stuff to take!

So their priority is other than avoidance of Covid-19 by isolation.
Their likelihood of contracting this is increased.
Their likelihood of survival is reduced, massively I guess.

It's a damn shame the front line medical staff have to deal with them anytime, now far more than ever.

My wife and I have the same problem.

Our son is generally a lovely bloke, and a good husband and father. Also very successful - CFO on the board of a big company etc and he was appointed at 37 years of age. However he can be the most inconsiderate, arrogant and loud mouthed ass at times.

My wife and I ofter wonder where we went wrong in that respect. He is an only child and we even sent him to boarding school for a few years to "socialise" him :).

I suspect that it is the nature of the beast - I once read that many successful people (e.g. surgeons, top businessmen, top sportsmen, entrepreneurs etc) have many sociopathic traits.
I suspect if your son read this he would post "another saying is the Apple never falls far from the tree" ;-).
