When I bought my CL500 it had a rear box delete.
It sounded rather lovely on start up, but at around 1500- 2000 rpm it resonated badly.
It was very tedious as that is a band you are in a lot of the time on West London’s streets. It was actually so tedious that I sourced a set of rear silencers and had it returned to standard.
Bliss….
If you do have it done deffo keep the originals to switch it back to standard if you find you later hate it, or to pass on to next owner
An E63 will drone badly without the back boxes, especially with the centre resonator removed.
For a deeper/louder sound I'd be looking at the front pipes which are very restricted on the M157. Weistec are good but expensive and eliminate the cats, which is not really a good move but sports cats are available which would help derestrict the gas flow.
Torque-Flow in MSL Performance have done many variations to the M157 exhaust and may be worth talking to...
