Exhaust brackets corroded away CLS 2005

I have a Merc CLS 320CDI 2005 . Two of the exhaust brackets have rusted away. Can you buy special clamps that go over the existing ones to support the exhaust?

More common to have them welded, any exhaust shop can sort it for you

Volvo make a replacement clamp for the Volvo S80 and it fits spot on my w211 exhaust and you can by them on ebay for @ £25

If possible source a firm that make exhausts, they will weld the new hanger on properly, I had my done on my last car, £15 per hanger/brackets, plus vat as good as new, no more rattles or clamp on bits to work loose. This was the best job I had done on my 12 year old Mercedes.

As others have said, search out your local exhaust fabricator and they'll be able to knock something up for you.
