Hello guys and girls

As per the title really. I've Been trying to find an exhaust for my beast but I'm struggling a little bit. I see there is a brabus option but can't seem to find the price anywhere. Every time I google it, the web pages just refer to the 850 wagon.

Supersprint ( one of my more favourite exhaust co) doesn't have a definitive price.

Is it worth just changing the down pipes only (I've read that this is the major easy power mod) but I'm not after bhp gains.
If I was to go down this route ( noise will increase with dp's I'm sure) will the car run too rich without a map?!

I'm mainly after a little bit more noise. Not bhp chasing. I find the car too sterile whilst pootling along. Great on full throttle but too quiet the majority of times.

I'm only 700 miles into my ownership. So dp and remap can wait.

I've came from an ///M world so AMG modding is fairly new to me.

Thanks in advance guys

Where are you based?

I am looking into this at the moment. If you want a quote from Brabus try emailing or calling [email protected]

There are a number of trusted specialist on the forum who will give you advice

RSK21 had some rado downpipes fitted by savman (mbclub name) at eurocharged UK (London)

see the link http://youtu.be/R44tnlugWDo.

Acid (mbclub name) works with the torque flow out of Birmingham and might be worth a call.

or Rebellion Matt@rebellion (mbclub name) they do switchable exhausts for other models not sure about the e63 biturbo.

Let us know how you go.

The downpipes with sports cats create a great sound on the Biturbo without causing any running issues even without a remap and fitting takes less than 2 hours. The ones in the link were fitted by us we can also check your car's afr on the dyno to put your mind at rest.

Hello

As Savman says those pipes were fitted by the excellent Eurocharged. They have made a big difference to the way the car sounds and come highly recommended. No doubt there are cheaper ways to approach the issue but not so many which allow for the ability to return the car to stock if needed.

Very happy to do the following:

1 - Endorse the guys at EC

2 - Provide some more clips

3 - Let you hear it in person if that's feasible

Thanks for the quick reply guys. It seems the general consensus is to forget about the back box and go straight for a dp.

I saw the threads regarding the rado pipes. Would the vendors/ rsk21 mind pm ing me how much the pipes are? Also would the "off road" version cause any cel lights?

To rsk21. Would you mind elaborating on how it sounds. Is there any drone?

Thanks again guys

I don't think you will have PM's enabled yet as you need to have at least 30 posts.
If the car is remapped then no there will be no CEL with the "off road" version, the "street" version will not cause a CEL on an otherwise stock car. You can contact me on [email protected] I can take you through the options and fitting details depending on your location.

No problem. I shall drop you an email. I'm located in Newcastle and only get one day off a week so will probably be a supply+ delivery unfortunately. Joys of being a business owner :(
