I noticed today when I had the window down there was a bit of a metallic exhaust rattle when the throttle was blipped.

I've already had the back cats issue and had them removed the other year (rather than replace the entire system). So I'm wondering is this likely to be a simply loose exhaust (as it doesn't sound anywhere near as loud as last time and I've not got the engine mgmt light going mental) or could the front cats have gone ? If so what are my options ?

Thanks in advance

I had a similar noise that transpired to be sheared exhaust mounts that rubbed.

Well worth getting it up on a ramp and have a good look and tug.

Turns out it was a broken bracket that was fixed with a bit of welding in a couple of minutes...
