Whilst fettling my lovely car the other day, I noticed these. Predictably enough they wouldn’t budge, I definitely don’t think the old owner was the obsessive detailing type!

Before I break anything, are these exhaust tips designed to slide out a bit for extra bling?!
I could only see this Allen bolt, is there anything else that needs to be loosened first?

That is the only bolt you need to loosen, then slide to the end, did the same with my C207, it's surprising how much better it looks. :) 👍
Take them off while your at it, and give um a good polish, they come up great.

How did you go about painting the callipers?
Halfords engine paint,
(Not caliper paint) it's thicker, and only needs two coats, I found the caliper paint like pi$$ you'll need at least four coats. :) 👍 And it is just sh1te that make them hard to remove, you have to give them a really good wiggle.:) Before you put them back give the exhaust a rub with sand paper, makes it a lot easier to put back on, and put a bit of grease on the nut.

Great stuff cheers, that’s the next dry day off‘s activity then!
