Exhaust

[300SE]

One of the exhaust tailpipes on my LHD 300SE has a large chunk out of it (rusted), although the rear box itself seems OK. Does anyone know where I can obtain chrome exhaust trim for this model so that I can  cover up this missing chunk

Is it a W126? If so, I think add-on chrome bits would look wierd on the end of the s-bend tailpipes. You should be able to get an exhaust specialist to fabricate and weld in some new pipes. Don't know where you are, but I had a similar repair done in Cheshire on my SL (s-bends halfway down system) - can  look out number if any use to you.

You can get OEM merc ones that fit...

I have a box full somewhere, i'll see what i have and let you know...

I know the 113 pagoda ones i have are almost the smae type ones, also i have 123 ones that look almost the same.
