Exhausted

    Hi where is the best place to by an exhaust system for my 180 There seems to be so many price variants Should i use high st fitters or is there something better ????? Thanks

    It all depends what you want :

    Main dealer will sell you an original system , which will fit easily and perfectly , but may be a little more pricey , although may be more competitive than you think ! Always get a price for the genuine system to use as a benchmark .

    Aftermarket specialists like Eurocarparts will sell an aftermarket system such as 'Ernst' which is still of decent quality but perhaps not as good as original - price may be lower - always compare

    High St is Kwik and easy - quality & fit is sometimes poor - again compare prices

    Custom made in stainless steel can be worthwhile if you intend keeping the car , and can be a good selling point if selling privately . Systems vary from one company to the next , as do the products , depending whether you want a loud 'performance' system , or a quiet one faithful to the original design - some companies know little about gas flow and are just cowboys who effectively knacker your car for good .
