My solution to our wallet ache is a company called "Montys Wheels and Tyres" they are based near Heathrow but will post anywhere.. I have just picked up 2 part worn Bridgestone 245/40/18's with 6-8mm of tread on them for £40 a piece, now these are a £180 tyre new!!!!!!! And thats £40 each fitted and balanced to your car!!!
Paul at Montys also sells many many new and second user wheels for all quality makes of cars, he did have a set of 18" AMG's in there that went like hot cakes. If you have 1 damadged wheel he can find a replacement from his vast stock or he can do the usual refurb service....
I know there are many companies that may offer a service like this but I have used Paul at Montys for many years now and the service that I have received is excellent and the info he knows and gives is totally amazing..
Why not give him a call next time you need a refurb, tyres or you are looking for alloys, be it a replacement single rim or a set of new rims....he caters for all wallets from the moth ridden rarely opened to the gold plated one!!
