Extended car warranties

An advert in todays Daily Mail (no jokes please) on page 53, reads.....
"Car Warranty Expired?"........etc....etc.....
Basically its an extended warranty policy.
Just punched in my details for my car (2004 C200K SE - under 30k miles/year) and I got quoted £254 for a years policy. Seems suspiciously cheap to me. Didnt read the small print, but it could be worth consideration........

IIRC Warranty Direct (as used by the Daily Mail) don't cover cars over 10 years old but you have to waste 10 minutes completing the whole quotation form to find that out

I can sell you a car warranty for £250 for a years cover (my cost price)... its quite good cover... I give them with most cars i sell..
