Just found these new Saches springs set for W124 estate front and rear . I look for bits and bobs to help you guys if i see any .. and myself . Seller is on Facebook and the he lives in Golden Cross Rochford price £40 good price for the 4 . Bit of a lottery, isn't it? With the range of springs and the point system that tots up options and their weight to determine the correct spring.

The rear of my Sportline sits slightly high as we chose the next stiffer spring from a points total at the top of the range. But a thinner shim would have reduced the height by 8 to 10 mm; a shade too much, perhaps.

We've left it as is and, with a bit of a load in the boot, it sits just right.

But I wish I had SLS!!!

So, the cheap set of springs MIGHT help or could be a waste.
