Facebook possible to have 2 accounts?

Hoping for simple answer for the above question?

Wife uses mine which is no big bother as i hardly go on there, but people looking for her are hardly going to find her all the time shes using my account.

Tried open new account says already an account at the e-mail address.

Facebook uses the email address as the username, therefore if she's trying to use the same email address as you then Facebook systems will see you as the same person.

If she doesn't have an email address of her own then I'd recommend she gets one set up on one of the many web services; Hotmail, GMail, Yahoo, etc etc.

This would be free and would only take seconds.

Once she has this she can use this email address in Facebook and set up her own account.

I use a second FB account for picture hosting. Sod Photobucket etc, just make a new profile, dump all your pics in and hyperlink to them, even videos and embed to them.
