Facelift steering wheel for W218

Hi Everyone,

mom a newbie to the site, I’ve owned my 2017 CLS 350 now for 2 years.

I really like the look of the newer Mercedes steering wheel and was wondering if anyone had upgraded there’s?

I’ve seen the steering wheel on eBay but have concerns with fitment, any advice welcome

Hi there,
I've got a w218 also and i have looked into this, although mine is pre-facelift.
if you go from pre-facelift to facelift you need either to resoldier the connector from steering wheel to the wires or change the steering column appropriate wiht the equipped options that you have (cks design can source one for you)
when it comes to the new shape metal steering wheels that you find in w213 e class and w222 s class as well as the new CLS, you would need a "chip" reprogramming the steering button functions to the receiving cables.
you can either contact cks design ( i'm sure they do it) or contact 55dimon on instagram he is in america, but he has the retrofit and will point you in he right direction /company that he has used.

Mind you the upgrade won't be cheap you are looking at 1k+
