Because they are an expensive component to replace and some people do not accept that there are costs associated with running cars out of warranty.You are correct. I am therefore perplexed as to what the OP meant by this:
Is there a suggestion there that LED lights should be covered for life? If so, then it's a mystery as to why this should be the case specifically for LED lights, when no other component of the car has this sort of guarantee?
