looks like the problem |reported on an earlier post with my factory fitted Xenon lights is down to one of the bulbs being defective (I thought these were supposed to last far longer than ordinary bulbs! )
Anyway, I'm scouring Google looking for replacements and many offer a different numbered K factor, or level of whiteness. 5000K or 6000K seem to be favourite, does anybody know what the original factory fitted Xenon bulb brightness is please?

Any recommendations as to manufacturer or shop to purchase from?

Cheers

MB do a good replacement, looks very OEM :)

Agree, I think it's 4300K
5 & 6K are popular as a mod to change the look. They are not oem & are more likely to attract attenion of the rozzers!

4300 got mine from e bay brighter than the old ones but still not fantastic, old car i guess.

I have a genuine MB D2R bulb - part no: N910139000000 available.

It was in my W220, but it appeared dimmer than the other, so I changed it, but the new bulb was also dim....- problem was a faulty ballast thingy (too expensive to change).
