Hi , I have an issue with my old Mercedes. Her blower fan starts off fine when the car is first started and then it seems to slow up . I have removed the blower and cleaned it and it seems to be the bushes . I reach this conclusion after seeing sparks from the comm where the bushes are located . I am hoping on of you learned people could confirm my suspicions ?. I can hear a ticking noise from the blower fan so I don't think its the regulator but could be mistaken .
Is there a way I can bypass the regulator and have the fan blowing full power ? . I have found some bushes on eBay and was hoping for some advice regarding fitting them . I can do most jobs and am experienced at soldering etc . I have had the car since new and she has just covered 50k buty wife always drives with the blower on full so it's had a hard life . The pollen filter was clean as was the motor and fan blades .
Thank you in advance for your kind help .
Chris
