Just been looking through the Haynes manual as my fan doesn't engage on my 190e 2.6 (no aircon) when the temperature reaches 100 degrees and have a couple of questions that I hope somebody can help me with.
There appears to be reference in the manual to two sensors in a similar location, one for the temperature gauge and the other a coolant temperature sensor. Which of these is the one that operates the switch for engaging the fan, as I've read that some are combined (gauge & coolant sensor)?
Also, my OVP appears to be up the spout as I'm getting intermittant ABS light, difficult starting, no tachometer ......could this have an influence over the switch for the fan?
Thanks in advance
