Fancy headlights…

Hi all! Wasn’t sure where to ask this so I’m in the electronics section!
I recently bought a 2017 c43. Off topic but…if you don’t have one you definitely should!
Anyway, mine has the multibeam headlight’s. I noticed when I unlocked the car they very briefly turn a lovely blue colour before reverting to the standard white colour. I was wondering if there’s any way that I can have the blue on all the time? Cheers!

That had crossed my mind…I think I’ll just have to admire the lights from afar when I unlock the car (which I actually do)…

Doesn't everybody have a permanent, half naked woman sat on their bonnet.....? Maybe it's not an option on lesser cars than the SL!

I don’t think it’s an option for the S class, the owner gets multiple semi-naked women as part of the cost of ownership (which is probably why they’re so expensive!).

I don't think that's the same thing, on both my C Class and SLC the LED strip in the headlight is blue and then fades to white. The SLC only started doing this after a new headlight was fitted, before it just lit up white. Mercedes must have changed the settings when they fitted the new light. They're not HID's either, but LED.

Yep, I read the link and it doesn’t seem to be the same thing. The description you give is the same as my lights, I think it’s a purposeful feature to make the car look cool (which it definitely does!).

The Mazda forum link is about HID, not LED. I assumed that the OP's pre-facelift W205 will have HID, not LED - but if I got that wrong, then the link I posted clearly doesn't apply.

Thanks for the effort, I do appreciate it! Yeah the car I got seems to have most things, premium plus, night package, fancy headlights, auto parking…think that’s about it! Of course I have the magic exhaust button to annoy everyone, even if I were to drive in eco mode (which of course I never have!)

I must have missed that check box on the configurator when ordering mine. Didn't even get a free biro

Ha! Me too! Also, I read (some of) the manual and it talks about something called an ‘atomiser’. Sounds totally cool but I don’t seem to have one…think I’d prefer the ladies though
