Umm, yep it was, we imported it into this country...but have now sold it. Ours was the late 6 cyl 3.0l diesel (more powerful version) as opposed to the earlier 3.5l
Does yours have navi, black leather, bose system and parking sensors, ?? if so, thats the one!! also, we bought those 19" lorinser rims in germany at a bargain price, one was slightly buckled when we sold it though (hit a pot hole <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='

Just read your post in the engine section!!! what a shame!!

How many miles has it done now?
BTW, the car was a 1997 when we imported it, not a 1992...As they never made a 1992 300d 140 only started the 350d in that year and didnt make the 300 till '96

mine is a 1992 , its is fitted with the old 603 engine ,mb built the first few diesel 140s with that engine in 1992 then later on with the 350 engines ,it maybe that they were still developing the 350 engine .
at the moment i would be happy with any engine that run well..

Is yours turbo or normally aspirated?
I have a couple of 603 engines (may have another coming in very soon...) if you are interested. They have all come from a W124 so you will have to use your ancillaries etc.
Also, your car should look quite different as i know for certain they never made that colour pre 96 and all your mouldings/bumpers/mirrors will be different.
And what wheels do you have on there?

yes mine is a turbo,
the colour looks metalic black with a hint of blue.
i had some paint made to repaint the rear bumper and the chap said its a shade of blue but i cant remember whats it called.as for the bumpers and trim they look the same as mine
but may well be different as the pic is not close enough to tell.
i also have small indercators on the front wings.
when i get my new camera i will post some pics..
