The deed is done, the venerable W203 C200cdi has gone to wherever via a recycler, it bought me a TaylorMade Stealth 2 driver, and a 2020 BMW i3 120 is now my only means of personal transport. Research had sort of narrowed it down to an i3 and MacTech's thread tipped me into choosing it. I don't regret it for one second. The regenerative braking is easy to use, so easy that driving it home from the south London (Bermondsey) dealer I bought it from I touched the brake pedal twice. As Mac said, they're a bit crashy over rough surfaces, to be expected with narrow 19 inch tyres. The instant torque and resultant acceleration is fun but you can see the remaining capacity diminish in front of your eyes. Like Mac I too drive it in EcoPro mode, I prefer the accelerator mapping. In default Comfort mode (ha!) it's very sensitive at small pedal movements and can make for jerky progress, although it's very quick. Full pedal gives full performance in any mode though, which makes passing lorries, caravans etc. a breeze.
Electrickery is the way forward!
Bye 🖐

Maybe in 2055 , for now it's dirty diesel and torque all the way. Enjoy your BMW , lane assist so Indictators are obligatory.

Damn that @Mactech. He’s a threat to this forum. He should be reported and banned dragging members away to another Marque. 😡
