    he looks so frail, i dread the day when he leavs us for another plane, one of my all time heroes

    Sir Patrick is amazing and certainly will be sorely missed. A true British eccentric :)

    I used to watch The Sky at night when it first began back in the late 1950's and still watch it today.
    Sir Patrick Moore is a true, true legend.
