Fault code reader won't connect to ML270

Hi all

panason1c came over today and did some work on my ML270, what a top guy!

We were trying to connect his diagnostics box to the car but every time it hung whilst trying to communicate with module 6, whatever that is.

His box of tricks has had no problems reading his ML270 and both vehicles are early facelift ML270CDI's, so I'm wondering what the problem could be?

Hi, it's a Foxwell NT600, no, there's no-one anywhere near me with STAR. The unit worked absolutely fine on another identical ML.
