I am interested in what thoughts people might have in one of the diagnostics kits for sale on a website - Bavariandominator. I have read the posts by Xixal in relation to the Carsoft 10 diagnostics kit from Belgium, but I have to say despite my initial reluctance I am wondering whether the same kit being sold by Bavariandominator is worth buying.

I have had a couple of e-mails with the guy Alistair and he says that he will support the product, although he says himself he is selling off the stock that he has, and that this is directly because of the company in Belgium and their non-existent customer support. He has also said that he would guarantee a refund if the product doesn't work properly.

He said that most Mercedes buyers of the kit have not experienced problems, it is mostly BMW for some reason.

So, if anyone has any further information about the Carsoft 10 kit I would be interested to hear about it. Is it worth £220 ? I have to say that according to Alistair [Bavariandominator] it seems to be very good, with full laptop read-outs and all the fault codes listed with plain English explanations.

I await opinions with interest.

i am wondering why Alistair will give a refund when he is selling off the product and will not trade with the company any more, he sounds very generous don't you thing?

Hi Myth, I had been considering the offer myself, and wondering about the refund situation. I think maybe Alistair wants to sell the remaining units and is prepared to take the chance that he may have to refund the price if the kit doesn't work properly. Having said that he does maintain that if one is using the kit on a Mercedes then it will be OK.

I will have to think about a bit more before making a purchase, I think.
