Hi completely new to the forum not sure if posting in the right section.
Help required with my vito 113cdi
Fault code p0103 maf and p0070 ambient air.
I'll start with the ambient. I think the previous owner has severed the green and brown cable. Location and sensor unknown can't find anything. Please see pic nsf behind headlamp.
Can anyone confirm location and cable's.
Will the ambient sensor affect the maf in anyway?
MAF
Measured the following when discounted from sensor. ignition on.
1=4.9V
2= 12.3V
3= gnd
4=4.9V
Connected to the MAF engine off
1=2.5V
2=12.3V
3=gnd
4=3.1v
Engine idling
1=2.5V
2=14.1V
3=gnd
4=3.2V
At 2000 and 3000rpm there are no changes to the above figures.
Can anyone throw some light on what's happening or not in this case.
