Hi all.

A cheeky request. Has anyone here recently (say less than 10 years) had to go through the daunting process of FCA authorisation for their own business? I just wanted to have a chat offline for some advice and tips if that is ok.

Did it many years ago, via one of FCA's predecessors, but I retired a couple of years ago, so regret that I can’t help. The main reason for posting therefore is to wish you all the best in getting authorised. (Looks like you’re burning the midnight oil already!!)

IMO there is not enough good, fully qualified advice available nowadays.
