Feb 1996 E320 Horn Problem

Hi All,

Just joined the group and would be grateful for any help with:

The horn has just stopped working (On the way to an MOT!!)

Can some one please advise the location and number of relevant fuses and the location of the horn relay.
Has ant one else had this problem.

Any help/advice will be much appreciated.

Hi Wes.

Have you checked the fuse diagram on the underside of the fuse box lid ?

Thanks for response Howard, Yes checked there but no ref to horn fuse. It may be under the rear seat I'm told. More pressing is location of horn relay.

Hi Wes

I had a little google and apparently on a w210 , the horn fuses are no. 40 and 41. It also suggests the relays are underneath the fuse box.

Have a read of this.

Hi Again Howard,
That was news to me and I'll check when I go to the car.
Next issue is the location of the horn relay since I'm told that could be responsible for the horn not sounding. The really annoying thing is that the horn failed when I was on the way to get a current MOT. The car sailed thro but for that and I have ro get the car back to the MOT station Monday PM!!
