Feedback on carbon fiber goodies

While back on this subject. What do you guys think of the hydro dipping? I'm thinking of having my diffuser dipped purely for the fact that its a lot cheaper than a genuine carbon one and nowadays the end product and quality is very good. I don't think I'd have something like a boot spoiler dipped but as the diffuser is low down and not as noticeable I'm thinking its s no brainer.

Toying with the idea of having the interior bits done as well.

Here's my interior Matt Black Carbon really pleased with it.

Looks good. Never thought about Matt finish. This sort of thing has come on so much. You would think that is the real McCoy. I'm tempted to get my interior bits done even more now.

Cheers ,heading back to see them as I didn't get the small section on the glove box covered and carbon to the front bonnet grill fins. :)

Looks great, could you please tell us who did the job? I want to have some interior bits done in my car - filled at least three online enquiry forms at various sites, and not a single reply :dk:

Where are based?

Something I'd be interested in getting a few bits done if you could get a group buy on the go maybe

I'm back to DMS either before or just after Chrimbo or Speak to Tony or Rob direct .

I'm in East Midlands, but it doesn't have to be on my doorstep - quite happy to drive couple of hours for a quality job.
There's a place in Herts called Devils dip. Gonna go over there at weekend if I get chance but heard good comments about them.

Ok nice weekend for a drive the weathers looking promising. My engine loves the cooler climate :)

When I spoke to them the other day they quoted me a reasonable price to carbon dip my rear diffuser. They also said, with a diffuser because it's textured, they have to prime and flat it before it can be dipped. Guess with interior bits they wouldn't have to do that so price wise I'd think it's money well spent. I will have the diffuser dipped but when it comes to rear spoiler and stuff that can be closely scrutinised I will go real carbon.

The first bit of feedback I'd give is that it's Carbon Fibre...not Fiber.

I'm going to email them a few pics of the bits I want done, however some of them can too be described as textured ... will have to speak to them, I suppose.

Ricky16, I like the idea of a group buy :thumb: What's a reasonable price for carbon dipping anyway?
