All publicity is good publicity, as they know perfectly well.
 
Can't think of any other company that's as aggressively protective of its brand and media image than Ferrari. They may sell lots of merchandising tat around the world, but that's fine so long as it is THEM selling it.

Can't imagine any headline involving Ferrari since the 1950s that hasn't been carefully planned and manipulated (and yes I include the US GP debacle. May not have been good, but it was still Ferrari-controlled decision-making)
