Sunday 16th saw my second year at this event held at woodbridge airfield.
The aim was simply putting your car through its pace on a 1 mile piece of asphalt with your 1/4 mile , 1 mile runs being timed plus your speed at the end of the mile.
50 cars were invited to this event but only 40 made it. Cars ranged from Porsches/Tvr's/Vxr8's/Mgsv and another E55 as well as mine.
Event only open to road legal cars with road legal noises and no exotica invited.
After 5 runs my best time was 1/4 mile in 12.612, mile in 31.485 @ 165.77mph,wish i had stickier rear tyres though as the sport contis gave awful traction off the line.
Highlight of the day was lining against a 620bhp 6.2ltr supercharged vxr8 "modified" beating him off the line quicker 0.60 and 1/4 mile all the way up to 145ish then his 6.2ltrs came into play and creeped past me before the line.
All in all a nice day and was fun putting the beast through its paces.
