Thinking of what to get next
Is it true thst if you connect to the net via a wireless router there is no need for a firewall on your pc as modern routers have an integrated firewall built in.

Can someone verify this please as ive unistalled my nortons firewall as to instructions from tech guy.

TIA

err - not strictly. Yes they do have inbuilt firewalls but not that you can adjust the settings on. I keep Zone Alarm on regardless ;) and it blocks stuff the router doesn't.

edited to add - btw, should be in the PC section. Watch for it moving along ;) :D

Though most modern routers have built in firewalls, these aren't as flexible as a software firewall. It doesn't hurt to have both...

Agree with what everyone else has said, I would leave the firewall software on your PC....
